A resident of the 300 block of Henderson Drive reported a confrontation between her juvenile grandson and another juvenile the afternoon of Sept. 25. The suspect allegedly destroyed property of the grandson and an altercation ensued. The suspect returned with a man who allegedly made threats toward the woman and then left.

Following a traffic stop of a speeding vehicle on U.S. 23 in Salem Township the night of Aug. 27, a passenger, Johnny C. Meek Jr., Columbus, was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Joseph E. Whisner, Columbus, was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated (refusal) and speed following a traffic stop on U.S. 23 near CH 56, Crane Township, the morning of Aug. 28.

An officer responded to a report of two males possibly fighting in the roadway by Harrison Smith Park the night of Sept. 23. The officers could not locate anyone in the area.

Brent A. Caskey, Marion, was arrested the morning of Aug. 24 on a warrant out of Upper Sandusky Municipal Court on original charges of driving under FRA suspension, speed and a seatbelt violation. Triston L. Kindle, Upper Sandusky, was picked up at Shuman Juvenile Detention Center, Pittsburgh, the morning of Aug. 24 on charges stemming from a 2015 crime spree with Rose May.

An Upper Sandusky man reported he believed people were entering his residence in the 500 block of Highland Parkway early the morning of Sept. 19. He advised he uses a dead bolt and security cameras, but believes the people are picking the lock and disabling the cameras.

Brian D. Zoll, Bloomville, was cited for failure to signal turn at the intersection of Highland Parkway and Sandusky Avenue the night of Sept. 16.

Devon A. Brock, Upper Sandusky, was cited for being out after curfew in the 100 block of West Johnson Street early the morning of Sept. 7. Officers responded to a report of a semi trailer illegally parked on Comfort Drive the morning of Sept. 7.

A man was assaulted by a fellow inmate Friday morning at the Wyandot County Jail. Joshua B. Risner, New Riegel, entered the cell of an Upper Sandusky man while he was sleeping and began to assault him, according to the sheriff’s report.

Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office A private property crash was reported in a driveway in the 100 block of Ohio 587, McCutchenville, the evening of Aug. 19.

Caden M. Johnson, Carey, was cited for failure to yield after a crash that sent three people to the hospital late Aug. 27. He was traveling northbound on U.S. 23 at the CH 97 intersection when he pulled in front of a westbound vehicle driven by Carol J. Zhang, Northville, Michigan, causing Zhang to strike his vehicle.
