Recycling set in Marseilles

MARSEILLES — Recycling will be offered from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Marseilles Park. Items accepted are aluminum and steel cans, clear and colored glass, newspapers, magazines, plastic food containers, cardboard and chipboard.

Carey school board to meet

CAREY — The Carey Exempted Village Schools Board of Education will meet in special session at 1 p.m. Sunday in the board office to approve a GMP amendment for the building project; disposal of school property; student handbooks; and an amendment to the bus bid specification.

TIFFIN — Mosquito Minus of Northwest Ohio, a Coppus Company, located in Tiffin, announces a recent franchise purchase and licensing agreement with Mosquito Minus, a mosquito control company based in Mount Clements, Michigan, with a national presence.

FNB scholarship winners

Class, business collaborate as youth begin to learn reasoning

With their bright orange T-shirts donated by a local businessman, a group of fourth graders at South Elementary School marched to the downtown area for a store visit after using a school year’s worth of borrowed items to get a glimpse into the past. Alan Lortz’s fourth grade class at South has been studying antiques since the beginning of the school year.
