Man to spend 48 months in prison for sexual battery

A Lancaster man was designated as a sex offender and sentenced to prison Tuesday in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court. Zachary M. Walter, 21, was sentenced to 48 months in the custody of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, was assessed court costs and must attend sex offender treatment after pleading guilty to sexual battery

The Upper Sandusky Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the Wyandot County Fair Business Showcase. Tables are available for $25 for chamber members or $35 for non-chamber members. OPA sponsoring 3 culinary contests at Ohio State Fair

COLUMBUS — The deadline is less than a week away for Ohio home cooks to submit their best culinary recipes for the 2016 Ohio State Fair. At this year’s fair, which runs from July 27 to Aug. 7, the Ohio Poultry Association once again will offer Ohio cooks opportunities to compete in three different culinary contests on July 30, including a new grilling competition.
