Nevada mayor seeks public’s help to stop vandalism at village park

NEVADA — Nevada Mayor Harold Lambert is asking for residents’ help to stop vandalism at Nevada Park. During Monday night’s council meeting, Lambert emphasized that park hours are from dawn until dusk, and if anyone sees someone at the park when it is closed, they should get a license plate number if applicable and call the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office.

Patrol warns of dangers in distractions

BUCYRUS — April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month and the Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is reminding drivers to keep their eyes and focus on the roadway while driving. Last year, 13,261 crashes in Ohio had a reported distraction, including 39 fatal crashes, according to a press release from the Bucyrus Post of the OSHP.
