Angeline wrestles with slow internet speeds from damage

Slow internet speeds at Angeline School and Industries due to damage from a recent storm has the county considering chopping its way through the woods. Angeline superintendent Todd Dilley met with the Wyandot County Board of Commissioners on Monday to discuss issues with upload speeds near the school at the intersection of Ohio 199 and CH 44.

Seat expected to open in Nevada

NEVADA — Former Nevada councilman Richard Awbrey expressed interest in filling an expected vacancy on council during Monday night’s council meeting. Because of work obligations, councilwoman Tiffany Bloomfield missed a meeting for the third straight month.

USPD responds to calls for service

Jesus Vargas-Manjarrez, Upper Sandusky, was cited for domestic violence after an officer responded to a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of North Warpole Street the evening of June 26. Joseph D. Sadoski, Columbus, was warned for red reflector required on U.S. 23/30 at CH 121 the night of June 26.
