A group of undergraduate engineering students from Minnesota made a pit stop at Tee Pee Campgroud in Salem Township overnight Tuesday. They were on their way to Pittsburgh to race a solar-powered car they had built from scratch.

A projected deficit partially caused by changes in how local health departments receive grant funding has led to a vote by the Wyandot County Health Board to ask the commissioners for permission to put a new, two-year levy on the November ballot.

Members of the Wyandotte Nation came to Wyandot County on Monday to visit landmarks associated with their ancestors. Twenty-two Wyandotte teens traveled to Ohio from Wyandotte, Oklahoma, on an annual historic trip taken by teens who are hired by the Wyandotte Nation in a summer work program.
