The Wyandot Soil and Water Conservation District hosted a tour Thursday morning of various projects around the county that are ongoing or have been completed. The tour primarily was an opportunity for local officials to take a glance at the projects.

The sewer separation project in the city of Upper Sandusky slated to begin this week has been postponed until 7 a.m. Monday, a representative of the mayor’s office confirmed Thursday.

A resident in the 300 block of East Seventh Street, Sycamore, reported her cable line was ripped out by a passing semi the morning of July 12. She advised it was the third time a semi had hit her cable line.

CAREY — Carey Fest is Aug. 5-6 in downtown Carey with homecoming Aug. 4 at Waterworks Park. The homecoming schedule includes the Carey Area Chamber of Commerce business showcase, Carey FFA farm petting zoo and children’s games at 5 p.m., Black Swamp Raptor birds of prey exhibit at 5:30 p.m. and classic rock band Expando Band from 5:30-9 p.m.
