Nevada looks at waterline project

NEVADA — The village of Nevada is not sure if it has the funding for a South Main Street waterline project this year. Lyn Makeever of Makeever & Associates, of Bucyrus, told council Monday night there still is time to apply for Ohio Public Works Commission grant, which could cover half of the project $110,000 cost of the project.

The new basketball courts at Bicentennial Park in Upper Sandusky were officially dedicated the Robby Lee Memorial courts with a special ceremony on Saturday morning. “When we presented this idea (dedicating the courts to the late Robby Lee) to the park board, they couldn’t say ‘yes’ fast enough,” Upper Sandusky Mayor Scott Washburn said.
