South Sandusky Block Rally doubles in size from last year The second year of the South Sandusky Block Rally, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, will be more than twice the size of last year’s event. Kirby Festival set for this weekend KIRBY — The annual Transfiguration of the Lord St. Mary’s/Kirby Festival will take place from 2 p.m. to midnight Saturday and 2-10 p.m. Sunday in Kirby. Saturday’s theme is “Adult Night Out.” The Kirby off-road 5K will begin at 9 a.m., taking runners into the country through trails in the woods of a parishioner and back, organizer Curt Frey said.
