USCL board discusses after-school behavior

The Upper Sandusky Library Board discussed issues with children’s behavior after school during its regular meeting Thursday afternoon. USCL Director Kathleen Whitt said after school programming typically has 30-50 children in the library almost every day. The children sign in, but they can be loud and disruptive, she said.

ODOT announces updates to county highway projects

The Ohio Department of Transportation recently announced the following highway construction projects scheduled to occur within Wyandot County. Work is dependent upon weather conditions. U.S. 23 between CH 97 and the U.S. 30 interchange, north of Upper Sandusky, will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Variable speed limit signs will be in place to display the legal, posted speed limit through the work zone.

Art Connections made the best of a bad situation at the Wyandot County Fair this year.
