Program to focus on youth behavior issues

A program entitled “Taking the Sting Out of Behavior” will be offered from 6:30-8 p.m. Nov. 18 in the cafeteria at Angeline School, 11028 CH 44. Participants will learn how to work with children to eliminate inappropriate behaviors and how to teach children skills necessary to self-monitor their actions.

Wyandot County Relay For Life has announced a kickoff event Dec. 4 in downtown Carey. The celebration is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. at the H&R Block building. Kappa, Lambda chapters of DKG to meet Sat.

The Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International will gather at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Inn at Ohio Northern University for a joint meeting with the Lambda Chapter of DKG. Hostesses are Donna Myers, Dorothy Blackburn, Tena Koehler and Charlotte Leeth.

Holiday mail program scheduled

FINDLAY — The American Red Cross will host a card-making party as part of its Holiday Mail for Heroes program from 5-7 p.m. Nov. 19 at Beca House, 128 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky. Supplies for making cards will be provided.

Veterans invited to Legion dinner

SYCAMORE — Sycamore American Legion Post No. 250 will host a dinner for veterans and their families from Wyandot County and the surrounding areas at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 11. The event will include a potluck meal with meat and table service provided.
