USHS yearbooks may be picked up any time

The 2016 Upper Sandusky High School yearbooks are ready to be picked up at the high school during regular office hours. The person who ordered the book must pick it up unless the school is informed by the purchaser who else is allowed to pick it up.

High court announces voter guide

COLUMBUS — A new website has been set up by the Ohio Supreme Court as a resource for voters. The one-stop shop repository of information called Judicial Votes Count includes profiles of judicial candidates running for election Nov. 8, according to information from the high court.

Pioneer dinner slated

The Wyandot Tracers chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will host its annual pioneer dinner at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at We Luv Yogurt. The dinner will include recognition of members who have proven their ancestors were in Wyandot County by 1850 (gold pioneers) or 1860 (silver pioneers).

Teachers group to meet

SYCAMORE — The Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sycamore’s Mohawk Historical Society Museum. Lunch will be T-N-T Pizza.

Band to perform in Melmore

SYCAMORE — The Honey Creek Preservation Jazz Band will return to the Pitman-Stoner Auditorium at the historic Melmore Town Hall at 7 p.m. Oct. 20 as part of a grand reopening. A new furnace and air conditioning units have been installed at the 1910 Eden Town Hall, which has been purchased by the Mohawk Historical Society.
