Due to the reported power outages in the county, Wyandot County Public Health released safety tips to follow when deciding whether to keep or discard refrigerated and frozen foods. Some general rules to make sure foods remain safe to eat include:

Knights of Columbus Council No. 2050, 208 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky, will host its annual Lenten fish fries beginning Friday. The dinner will be served each Friday through April 7.

Angeline School and Industries will collect non-perishable food items for county food pantries throughout March in observance of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month for the Stuff the Bus Food Drive. Donations can be dropped off at Angeline on CH 44 in Upper Sandusky during normal business hours.
