Meeting minutes: April 8, 2017

The Village Gardeners Garden Club recently met at Upper Sandusky Community Library, with 14 members present. Cheryl Lyon told members about the Village Gardeners’ and Wyandot County Council on Aging’s joint garden tour July 18-19 in Grand Rapids and Holland, Michigan.

Elk’s Lodge No. 83 activities committee member Megan Rowe (right) presents $900 check to Karen Wilch (left) and Kris Joseph of Open Door Resource Center. The money was raised during accessory bingo March 3 at the Elk’s ballroom in Upper Sandusky.

Westbrook supports Good Egg

Staff at Westbrook Assisted Living assembled Easter baskets for the Upper Sandusky Rotary Club’s Good Egg project. The baskets will be distributed to Wyandot County children on Good Friday.

Bake sale to benefit OLC Shrine, parish

CAREY — Hot cross buns, Easter candy and dinner rolls for the Easter table will be featured at Our Lady of Consolation Bakery’s Palm Sunday weekend sale. The sales office, located in the information booth across from the OLC Basilica, will be open from 4-7 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

Goodbye
