The Village Gardeners Garden Club recently met at Upper Sandusky Community Library, with 14 members present. Cheryl Lyon told members about the Village Gardeners’ and Wyandot County Council on Aging’s joint garden tour July 18-19 in Grand Rapids and Holland, Michigan.

Staff at Westbrook Assisted Living assembled Easter baskets for the Upper Sandusky Rotary Club’s Good Egg project. The baskets will be distributed to Wyandot County children on Good Friday.

CAREY — National Library Week is April 9-15 and Dorcas Carey Public Library has planned the following events. Monday: There will be an Easter egg hunt, cookie decorating and children may visit and have their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny.

FOREST — Friends of Forest-Jackson Public Library will host a spring ladies luncheon at noon April 27 at the library, 102 W. Lima St. Kathy Miller will cater the event.

CAREY — Hot cross buns, Easter candy and dinner rolls for the Easter table will be featured at Our Lady of Consolation Bakery’s Palm Sunday weekend sale. The sales office, located in the information booth across from the OLC Basilica, will be open from 4-7 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

BUCYRUS — The people of Bucyrus United Methodist Church, 227 S. Walnut St., invite the public to worship with them and celebrate this Easter season. The Maundy Thursday service on April 13 will feature “The Lord’s Table,” a drama by Kevin Stolz.

TIFFIN — The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties, 1200 N. Ohio 53, Tiffin, will offer a grief and loss support group for people coping with the loss of a loved one due to addiction or suicide.
