Pioneer dinner slated

The Wyandot Tracers chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will host its annual pioneer dinner at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at We Luv Yogurt. The dinner will include recognition of members who have proven their ancestors were in Wyandot County by 1850 (gold pioneers) or 1860 (silver pioneers).

Teachers group to meet

SYCAMORE — The Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sycamore’s Mohawk Historical Society Museum. Lunch will be T-N-T Pizza.

Band to perform in Melmore

SYCAMORE — The Honey Creek Preservation Jazz Band will return to the Pitman-Stoner Auditorium at the historic Melmore Town Hall at 7 p.m. Oct. 20 as part of a grand reopening. A new furnace and air conditioning units have been installed at the 1910 Eden Town Hall, which has been purchased by the Mohawk Historical Society.

Trapping drawing to be at Killdeer Plains

FINDLAY — A one-time drawing will take place at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 19, 2016 for trapping in the wildlife refuge on the Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The drawing will be at the Killdeer Plains Check Station, located at 19100 CH 115, Harpster.

Lilly Renaee Bukovich

Sheena Macie Mardis and Anthony Wade Bukovich, both of Upper Sandusky, are the parents of a girl, Lilly Renaee Bukovich. She was born at 7:55 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
