Lydia and Benjamin Schneider, daughter and son of Shawn and Andrea Schneider, have completed the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the Upper Sandusky Community Library.

Weekend clearance sale at OLC Bakery

CAREY — The Our Lady of Consolation Bakery, under the direction of the Rev. Paul Faroh, will have a clearance sale. The sales office, located in the information booth across from the OLC Basillica, will be open from 4-7 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

Balloon release set Aug. 6

Parents and families who have had children die are invited to a memorial balloon release from 3-6 p.m. Aug. 6 at Stepping Stones Park. Sponsored by The Compassionate Friends of Wyandot County, the annual balloon release will take place at the shelter at the park.
