SYCAMORE — The Honey Creek Preservation Jazz Band will return to the Pitman-Stoner Auditorium at the historic Melmore Town Hall at 7 p.m. Oct. 20 as part of a grand reopening. A new furnace and air conditioning units have been installed at the 1910 Eden Town Hall, which has been purchased by the Mohawk Historical Society.

Kloepfer placed through UF student teacher program FINDLAY — Taylor Kloepfer, of Carey, has been placed as a student teacher for the University of Findlay’s fall semester.

FINDLAY — A one-time drawing will take place at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 19, 2016 for trapping in the wildlife refuge on the Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The drawing will be at the Killdeer Plains Check Station, located at 19100 CH 115, Harpster.
