The annual Wyandot County men’s Lenten luncheons continues Wednesdays at First Lutheran Church, 601 N. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky. The meal will be served at 12 p.m. and attendees will be dismissed by 1 p.m. The north parking lot is handicap-accessible.

Minnie and Kenneth Bash were married March 9, 1947. Mr. Bash is a son of the late Arlo and Imo Bash.

FOREST — The 2017 Tree Town Festival Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Forest Village Council Chambers. Anyone interested in joining the committee is encouraged to attend.

CAREY — Beech Grove Wesleyan Church, 16054 CH 4, Carey, will serve a spaghetti supper from 5:30-7 p.m. March 18. The cost is $8 for adults and $6 for children age 10 and younger.

FOREST — McVitty Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary will host an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 5-7 p.m. March 31 at the VFW Hall in Forest. A meatless sauce will be available for everyone observing Lent.

BUCYRUS — Wayside Christian School is scheduling appointments for 2017-18 kindergarten screenings. The screenings will begin at at 9 a.m. Thursday.

BUCYRUS — Bucyrus Public Library will host Pinterest Day at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Each participant will make and take a paper dahlia or sunflower wreath.

Knights of Columbus Council No. 2050, 208 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky, host its annual Lenten fish fries each Friday through April 7. All-you-can eat dinners will be available from 6-8 p.m. or until sold out.

The Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Crisis Program that began in November is scheduled to end March 31. The Winter Crisis Program provides financial assistance, one time per heating season, to income-eligible households that are threatened with disconnection of their heating source, have service already disconnected, need to establish new service or transfer service, or have less than a 25 percent supply of bulk fuel.
