COLUMBUS — The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians now is accepting nominations for the 2018 Family Physician of the Year Award. This award recognizes a family physician who has exhibited extraordinary, beyond-the-call-of-duty merit, articulating and encouraging members and students to pursue the ideals of family medicine and convey these ideals to the public.

McCUTCHENVILLE — The Mohawk class of 1962 held a recent luncheon at the Plank Road Tavern with 13 classmates and spouses attending. Dick Kear brought muffins with handpicked blueberries to share with all. The next luncheon is 11 a.m. March 1 at the Plank Road Tavern.

Tiffiny and Justin Steinhour, of Upper Sandusky, are the parents of a girl. Emma Kay Steinhour was born at 8:35 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky. She was 20 inches long and weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces.
