HEAP program helps with cooling needs The HHWP Community Action Commission’s HEAP 2018 Summer Crisis Program began July 1 and continues through Aug. 31 or until funding and equipment are fully exhausted. This program can provide a payment of up to $300 toward a regulated or up to $500 toward an unregulated electric bill, a central unit air conditioning repair or a window air conditioner and a tower fan. Coalition reports no fatal accidents The Wyandot County Safe Community Coalition reported that there were no fatal traffic accidents on Wyandot County roadways between April 1 and June 30, and there has been only one traffic fatality in Wyandot County during the first six months of 2018. Read More
