Ratliffs celebrate 50th

Larry Joe and Bonnie (McColly) Ratliff, of Upper Sandusky, celebrated their 50th anniversary with a trip to Tennessee. They were married July 12, 1968, at Little Sandusky Bible Church, Little Sandusky.

Pool party Friday at park

A pool party will be hosted from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Upper Sandusky community pool in Harrison Smith Park. The party is for sixth, seventh and eighth graders only. Water and pizza will be provided and door prizes will be given out.

Council on Aging hosting multi-generational event

SYCAMORE — The Wyandot County Council on Aging is hosting a multi-generational event at 11 a.m. Friday at the Mohawk Community Library in Sycamore. Seniors are encouraged to invite their grandchildren or any other children to the event, which will feature rock painting, photo opportunities and lunch.

Red Cross still experiencing shortage

FINDLAY — As summer winds down, the American Red Cross urges individuals to give blood and platelets now and help end an emergency summer blood shortage that began last month. A critical need remains as many regular donors delay giving to take final summer vacations and prepare for school to start.

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Monday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include two black and white kittens, a tan and white female shepherd mix and a male blue tick hound.
