Gerry and Carol (Arnold) Leeth, of Upper Sandusky, are celebrating their 50th anniversary today. The couple was married Sept. 28, 1968, at Marseilles Presbyterian Church.

The Salem United Methodist Church on Mifflin TH 96 is celebrating its 150th anniversary at 10 a.m. Sunday followed by a potluck at noon. It is meant to be a time of fellowship, music, and prayer.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary District 10 will host its first ever Family Freedom Festival from 12-3 p.m. Oct. 13 at Harrison Smith Park in Upper Sandusky. The free event is family friendly and will feature food, music, games and more.

FOREST— The Forest-Jackson Public Library is hosting “Cut the Craft’ at 1 and 7 p.m. Thursday. Adults and teens are welcome to join us and make a burlap owl door hanger.
