OLC Bakery to have sale this weekend

CAREY — The Our Lady of Consolation Volunteer Bakery, founded by the late Father Paul Faroh, is preparing for its pre-Thanksgiving bake sale by making dinner rolls and pumpkin pies. The bake sale, to be held the weekend before Thanksgiving, will be in honor of Father Paul, who died Oct. 28 after a brief illness.

HEAP providing financial assistance to cover winter heating costs

The Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Crisis Program was created to provide financial assistance, one time per heating season, to income eligible households who are threatened with disconnection of their heating source, have service already disconnected, need to establish new service, seek to transfer service, or have less than a 25 percent supply of bulk fuel.

Bereavement talk Monday

FINDLAY — Bridge Bereavement Services will offer a presentation that focuses on how to cope with the loss of a loved one during the holiday season from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday in the Marathon Auditorium at Blanchard Valley Hospital, 1900 S. Main St., Findlay.

He was 20.5 inches long and weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. Maternal grandparents are Debi Hardymon and Allen Hardymon, Upper Sandusky. Paternal grandparents are Dixie Risser and Charles Risser, Wharton.

Jaclyn Mack and Alvin Newsome, Kirby, are the parents of a girl. Charlotte Bernadette Newsome was born at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
