BUCYRUS — Ashland University football coach Lee Owens will be the featured speaker at the men’s breakfast at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Owens previously served as head coach at Akron University and as an assistant coach at Ohio State University.

FOREST — The Forest-Jackson Public Library, located at 102 W. Lima St., will be having “Food for Fines” throughout the month of December. One can of food equals one dollar off of fines.

Our Lady of Consolation School recognized Beatitude Students of the Month for November for displaying “Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the Earth.”

Upper Sandusky Middle School is hosting a food drive twice next week. Those who bring in five nonperishable food items for a local food pantry will be admitted free to the Rams’ boys home basketball game against Mohawk on Dec. 11 and to the girls home basketball games against Wynford on Dec. 14.
