Woodard, Batton exchange vows

Healy and Grant Woodard featured

Healy Batton and Grant Woodard exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church in Cincinnati, with the Rev. Doug Johns officiating. The bride is a daughter of Brad and Joan Batton, Carey. The groom is a son of Brian Woodard, New Concord, and Sandra Wilson, Westerville.

McCutchenville church hosting annual Election Day meal

McCUTCHENVILLE — Trinity United Church of Christ is hosting its annual Election Day lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 6 in McCutchenville. The menu includes bratwurst; sloppy joe; jumbo hot dog and chicken sandwiches; chicken noodle, ham and bean, rivel, vegetable, chili and potato soups; pie; and drinks.

Carey grad plays in UF production FINDLAY — Jack Yeater, of Carey, participated in the University of Findlay’s recent theater production, “The Misanthrope.” Yeater played the role of Alceste.

Support group meeting

The Wyandot County Prostate Cancer Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 for an open forum on topics of interest to those in attendance in the Bowman and Kirkland Conference Rooms on the lower level of Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

Humane Society: November 1, 2018

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Monday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a 2-month-old male yellow Lab puppy with light green eyes, a tan and brown neutered male cane Corso-mastiff mix and and two gray tiger kittens, a tiger kitten and a black kitten.
