Humane Society: July 3, 2018

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Monday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a male Jack Russell terrier, a black and white long hair male cat, a young female blue tic hound, a gray and white neutered male pit bull, a male brindle boxer, a brown and white female Lab-poodle mix and a large tiger neutered male Maine coon cat.

South School Spring Fling

A Spring Fling reunion of South School faculty and staff members who were employed from 1974-2004 was held last Thursday. The event included both retired and active staff members who are working or have worked at South Elementary School.

Drive Sober this July 4 holiday

There is a lot to look forward to in Wyandot County this July Fourth holiday with local musical festivals, backyard parties and fireworks. While not all festivities include alcohol, some will. That’s why the Wyandot County Safe Communities Coalition and local law enforcement agencies want to remind partygoers to be responsible and designate a sober driver.
