TIFFIN — The Tiffin Developmental Center’s 53rd Annual Halloween Parade is 2 p.m. Oct. 20, rain or shine.

CAREY — The Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, will host several special Masses in October. The first Mass is 7 p.m. Oct. 11 for hope and healing. This Mass is for cancer victims, survivors, caregivers and their loved ones. Following Mass, the Friars will be available for special healing prayers with individual visitors and families. The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick also will be available. Since October is known as breast cancer awareness month, the church especially prays for those with this disease.

Union/Salem United Methodist Church is hosting Living Water bluegrass style gospel music at 10 a.m. Sunday. Living Water is a dedicated group of Christian men who use their talents for the glory of God by performing blue grass gospel music.

Test drive a Ford to help the Our Lady of Consolation eighth grade raise money toward its trip to Washington D.C. in spring 2020. For every test drive from 9:30 to 3:30 p.m. Oct.12, the Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the school toward the trip.

Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a tri-color male Australian shepherd, a white male west highland white terrier, a white and tan neutered male long hair cat, a female gray tiger cat, and a red and white 13-year-old female basset hound.
