Star Kids program tries to instill confidence into young performers Every late spring through early summer since 1985, youth in first through sixth grades have taken the stage at the Star Theatre in Upper Sandusky for the Star Kids theater program. Through support of the community and longtime director Lori (McCreary) Lavery and her family, among others, the local youth get an opportunity to learn basic theater techniques, including singing, dancing and acting, and shine in their own performances.
