Video shows Upper man admitting to detectives he helped make meth

An Upper Sandusky man admitted to investigators that he helped produce methamphetamine during a videotaped interview the jury watched during the second day of his trial Wednesday in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court. Benjamin M. Gamble, 26, is charged with a third-degree felony possession of chemicals for the manufacturing of drugs and a first-degree felony complicity to the illegal manufacture of drugs with a juvenile specification.

MOBL and Cardington champs

The Upper Sandusky fourth grade girls basketball team is undefeated this season and recently won the championship at the Cardington tournament. The team is 11-0 and beat Shelby twice to win the Mid-Ohio Basketball League championship.

Snow day

Dave Kitzler clears snow from sidewalks in front of the Wyandot County Courthouse and Sheriff’s Office this morning. The area was blanketed with 2-3 inches of snow Monday and overnight, causing school closings throughout the area.
