McLaughlin tops Ball for his 4th Match Game title in last 5 years

Top 5

With Roger Ball closing in on his lead late in the third game Sunday, Don McLaughlin showed why he has become Wyandot Lanes’ top bowler. McLaughlin converted a 2-4-10 split on the ninth frame to erase any chance of a Ball comeback in the championship of the Wyandot Match Game Invitational, and he went on to take a 662-607 series victory to win his fourth title in the last five years and his tournament-record fifth championship overall in the 34-year-old tournament.
