Area youth athletes were honored Monday evening at the Upper Sandusky City Council meeting. Upper Sandusky Middle School wrestlers Lane Montgomery, Bryce Kincade and Karson Alban were given Mayor’s Awards Monday for advancing to the state wrestling tournament last season.

Rams win tri with Royals, Tigers

Upper Sandusky boys and girls were winners in a home tri-meet against Seneca East and Wynford on Monday at Upper Sandusky. The Rams girls topped the Tigers 92.5-30.5, with the Royals scoring 31 points, while the Rams boys topped the Tigers 84-64, with the Royals tallying 27 points.
