Sycamore Fire receives 2 grants SYCAMORE — Fire Chief Rodney Clinger reported the Sycamore Volunteer Fire Department had received two grants Tuesday at the Sycamore Village Council meeting. The department received a grant from the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation for $30,900 for Stryker power cots, which dramatically reduce strenuous lifting and the associated risk of back injury.
