Young squad

The Upper Sandusky High School competition cheerleading squad recently began its season with a third-place finish in the large varsity division at Spencerville High School. The squad later placed first out of eight teams at the Auglaize County Fair in the large division.

Upper Sandusky High School is searching for a field line caretaker for the 2017-18 school year. This person is responsible for lining the athletic fields at both USHS and Upper Sandusky Middle School during the fall and spring sports seasons.

Upper to offer Golden Ram pass to seniors

The Upper Sandusky High School athletic department once again will offer a free Golden Ram lifetime discount pass for all senior citizens ages 62 and older in the community. The pass will allow the bearer to purchase a ticket to each USHS and Upper Sandusky Middle School home athletic event for the student price.

N10 establishes tickets prices for 2016-17

The Northern 10 Athletic Conference (N10) athletic ticket price schedule will be as follows for the 2016-17 school year: — Varsity contests: Adults $6 and students (K-12) $5. — Junior varsity, freshman and junior high contests: Adults $4 and students (K-12) $3. Admission will be charged for home football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, wrestling and track and field.

Mohawk’s Dunlap recognized at HOJGA year-end banquet

WALDO — The Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association recently honored junior members and volunteers and two new members of the Ohio State University golf team during its 30th year-end awards banquet at Kings Mill. Mohawk’s Billy Dunlap was presented the Marion County Youth Foundation M.E.R.I.T. scholarship for $500.
