ADA — Four of five matches went three sets, but Upper Sandusky remained undefeated on the season with a 4-1 victory against Ada in girls tennis Tuesday at War Memorial Park.

NEW WASHINGTON — Jenna Karl had 20 kills and 13 digs to lead Buckeye Central to a 25-19, 25-21, 25-14 victory against Mohawk in both teams’ season opener Tuesday evening.

ARLINGTON — Van Buren rolled to victory in a Blanchard Valley Conference tri-match, beating North Baltimore (198) and Riverdale (273) on Tuesday at Sycamore Springs Golf Course.

BUCYRUS — Wynford downed Bucyrus, 224-263, in a girls golf match Monday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus.

NEW WASHINGTON — Buckeye Central topped Mohawk, 227-259, in a girls golf match that also included a pair of Upper Sandusky golfers on Monday at Cranberry Hills Golf Course.

CAREY — Marcus Miller earned medalist honors with a 40 as Carey earned a 164-210 victory against Wynford in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys golf match Monday at Bob’s Countryside Golf Course. Easton Roark and Chase Wagner were right behind Miller with 41s, and Alex Kimmet finished with a 42 for Carey.

BUCYRUS — On a day when Mohawk’s top two golfers struggled slightly, Billy Dunlap medaled to lead the Warriors to a 174-214 victory against Bucyrus in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference golf match Monday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus.
