The 22nd annual Upper Sandusky Family Bicycle Tour presented by Columbus Outdoor Pursuits is set to begin from 7-8:30 a.m. Saturday. The new starting location is at Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church, 108 Malabar Drive.

Carriages, buggies and vintage vehicles will be on display during the annual ice cream social from 12-4 p.m. Saturday sponsored by the Wyandot County Archaeology and Historical Society. The event includes free admission to the Wyandot County Museum and Charlotte’s Schoolhouse.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown recently announced the names of two teachers who have been selected to receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.

FOREST — The Forest-Jackson Public Library will host two family movies in July. At 10:30 a.m. July 21 the library will show “Pixar Shorts 2” and at 10:30 a.m. July 28 “Home” will be shown.

The Upper Sandusky Community Library will show movies in the basement at 1 p.m. every Wednesday. The titles cannot be published in the paper due to the library’s contract, but area residents can get a listing in the library’s newsletter or pick up a listing at the library.

CRAWFORD COUNTY — Team Hugs from Heaven will sponsor a chartered bus trip to Scioto Downs Racino on Aug. 1.

MARION — Three people from Carey and one from Forest were among the 21 graduates of the 21st Marion Law Enforcement Academy.

SYCAMORE — The Mohawk Community Library Foundation will host a benefit concert featuring Kerry Patrick Clark at 7 p.m. July 18 in the Pitman-Stoner Auditorium at the 1910 Eden Town Hall.

The Koda Bear Foundation, an Upper Sandusky-based nonprofit, will host its first Koda Bear Festival on Saturday at the Wyandot County Fairgrounds.
