National quilt challenge coming to Bucyrus

BUCYRUS — The Hoffman Quilt Challenge, a traveling collection of quilts, clothing and dolls, will have an exhibit at the Bucyrus Public Library today through Aug. 20. Each annual challenge features a specific fabric that contestants draw on for inspiration and incorporate into their entries. Brochures will be available at the library. Amy E. Fox and Levi J. Brown, both of Forest, exchanged wedding vows July 25, 2015 at Forest Park United Methodist Church. Tim Benjamin and Phil Brenneman, the grandfather of the groom, officiated the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.

Heating help available

FINDLAY — The Hancock, Hardin, Wyandot, Putnam Community Action Commission’s summer crisis program continues through Aug. 31 or until funding is exhausted. The program can provide a payment of $250 toward a regulated electric bill or as much as $350 toward an unregulated electric bill, a window air conditioner or a box or tower oscillating electric fan.

St. Peter’s School announces lunch policy

St. Peter’s School on Friday announced its 2015-16 program year policy for free and reduced-price meals for students unable to pay the full price of meals or milk served under the national school lunch and school breakfast, after school care snack or special milk program. The school office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.
