USHS graduate was coached by her father, inspired by her sister

Practice makes perfect

As a student at Upper Sandusky High School, Rick Young threw the shot put and discus on the USHS track and field team. He eventually broke the school record in the shot put. He truly enjoyed the sport. Years later, he became just as passionate about teaching others the mechanics of throwing the shot put and discus as well as other life lessons coaches aim to instill in student-athletes.
