TIFFIN — Fremont Ross edged Mohawk, 230-236, in a nonconference girls golf match Tuesday at Seneca Hills Golf Course. Shelby Level paced the Little Giants with a 45. Alana Smith shot a 55, Mekhia Williams had a 62, and Jasannah Sabiers tallied a 68.

BUCYRUS — Wynford finished fourth and Mohawk eighth Monday in the Bucyrus Elks Invitational golf tournament at The Golf Club of Bucyrus. Galion blew away the field with a 310. Seneca East (341) and Ashland (367) both came in ahead of the Royals (374). The Warriors finished with a 410.

TIFFIN — Thanks to Abby Underwood’s 48 and Caity Scheifer’s 52, the Wynford girls golf team won a tri-match with Seneca East and Mohawk on Monday at Clinton Heights Golf Course in Tiffin. The Royals finished with an overall score of 222, Seneca East finished with an overall score of 240, and Mohawk finished with an overall score of 243.

BLUFFTON — Andrew Kuenzli earned medalist honors with a 44 but Bluffton squeezed past Riverdale, 198-200, in a non-conference boys golf match Monday at Bluffton Golf Club. Curtis Tracy and Rease Haley both shot 51s for the Falcons (2-4). Tyler Clark added a 54.

FOSTORIA — Ethan Tanner and McKain Miller both shot career-best 83s as Carey finished fourth Monday in the Fostoria Invitational at Lakeland Golf Course. Genoa took the team title, 314-317, over Findlay, with Eastwood third with a 324.

Upper Sandusky High School will be playing Fostoria High School in a Jamboree Football Game at 6 p.m. Friday at Upper Sandusky High School. A Jamboree is a third preseason football contest to be used as a “dress rehearsal” for the upcoming regular season.

CAREY — The Wyandot Sports Hall of Fame’s Robby Lee Memorial golf outing is Saturday at Bob’s Countryside Golf Course, Carey. The four-person scramble includes 18 holes with a cart plus lunch. Cash prizes are awarded.

BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Softball Association will host a men’s and co-ed softball tournament Friday through Sunday. The men’s tournament begins Saturday and ends Sunday.

TIFFIN — Hayden Heilman shot a 46 to lead Mohawk to a 213-224 victory against Upper Sandusky in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference girls golf match Friday at Seneca Hills Golf Course. Heilman’s score was seven strokes better than anyone else from either team.

CAREY — Carey posted four scores in the 40s to take a 176-198 victory against Riverdale in a non-conference boys golf dual match Friday at Bob’s Countryside Golf Course. Ethan Tanner led the Blue Devils (1-0) with a 41, followed by a 43 from McKain Miller.
