ATTICA — Jessica Bowerman had 13 kills, 14 digs and 12 assists to lead Seneca East to a 25-17, 25-15, 25-9 victory against Upper Sandusky in Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball play Thursday night at Seneca East.

HOLGATE — Riverdale held on to force a fourth set but came up just shy of making a decisive fifth set necessary in a 25-17, 25-19, 29-32, 25-23 nonconference volleyball loss at Holgate on Thursday night.

Upper Sandusky seniors Brett Montgomery and Evan Young wrapped up their high school golf careers at Lincoln Hills Golf Club as winners on Wednesday, as the Rams topped Mohawk 172-200 in Northern 10 Athletic Conference play.

BLUFFTON — Carey kept its perfect record with a 176-184 victory against Pandora-Gilboa in a boys golf match Wednesday at Bluffton Golf Club.

GALION — Upper Sandusky won both doubles matches but Galion swept singles competition to take a 3-2 victory in a girls tennis match Wednesday at Heise Park.

VANLUE — Riverdale volleyball opened Blanchard Valley Conference play with a 25-18, 25-15, 21-25, 25-23 loss to Vanlue on Wednesday evening at Vanlue.

ARLINGTON — Andrew Kuenzli medaled with a 41, but Leipsic came out on top against Riverdale 180-188 in Blanchard Valley Conference golf action Wednesday at Sycamore Springs Golf Course.
