SYCAMORE — Avita is providing free physicals to Mohawk students from 4-8 p.m. May 22 at Buckeye Central. Students from Buckeye Central, Seneca East and Plymouth also are invited.

Upper Sandusky High School and SportsCare at Wyandot Memorial Hospital are offering athletic physicals May 30 in the USHS gymnasium. WMH staff and local chiropractors and optometrists will provide physical exams for a $15 donation to the athletic department to be used for the purchase of supplies.

The Upper Sandusky baseball team closed its season with a 4-3 victory against Colonel Crawford in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference game Friday. Both teams scored early but not much after that.

Reineke opened the Upper Sandusky girls slowpitch softball season with an 18-13 victory against First Federal Bank last Monday.

With a shot up the middle, Maddy Stansbery drove home Blayc Hacker and drove Upper Sandusky back to the district round. The No. 4 Rams were 5-4 walk-off winners over No. 5 Vermilion in their sectional final Friday.

NORTH ROBINSON — For the third consecutive year, Colonel Crawford remains the only school to ever claim a boys or girls Northern 10 Athletic Conference title. The Eagles claimed the boys championship by a 150-116 margin over Seneca East and the girls team edged Upper Sandusky 150.5-148.

MILAN — Though Edison by no means is the same team as last year, the state-tested Chargers proved more clutch than young Wynford in a 6-2 Division III sectional final softball game Friday.

FINDLAY — Riverdale’s boys won both distance relays at the Blanchard Valley Conference track and field meet at Liberty-Benton on Friday. The Falcons finished third with 90 points, while Riverdale’s girls were fifth with 58.5 points.

HAMLER — Becca Jones threw a five-inning no-hitter, and Patrick Henry exploded for nine runs in the fourth inning to beat Riverdale, 14-0, in a Division III sectional final Friday in Hamler.

ARCADIA — Carey baseball scored all the runs it needed in the top of the first inning and rolled to a 7-1 non-conference victory Friday at Arcadia. The Blue Devils scored twice in the first inning, three times in the second inning, and after the Redskins scored one in the third, Carey scored two more in the fifth.
