USHS seeking swim, baseball assistants

Upper Sandusky High School is searching for an assistant baseball coach and an assistant swimming coach for the 2017-18 school year. Candidates should submit a letter of interest, resume and references to Athletic Director Brad Ehrman, 800 N. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky OH 43351 or to brad_e@usevs.org.

USMS taking donations at volleyball game

Upper Sandusky Middle School will waive the admission fee to today’s volleyball game against Mohawk for all attendees who bring items to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Accepted items include safety glasses, work gloves, flashlights, batteries (any size), cleaning supplies, packs of diapers, baby wipes, baby food, soap, deodorant, can openers and eating utensils.

Carey tops Bucyrus to stay unbeaten

BUCYRUS — Marcus Miller shot a 41 to earn medalist honors and lead undefeated Carey to a 186-228 victory against Bucyrus in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys golf match Tuesday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus. Trey Bame added a 45, Ethan Tanner had a 49, and McKain Miller scored a 51 for the Blue Devils (8-0, 6-0 N10).

Rams build 2-set lead, hold off Tigers

ATTICA — Upper Sandusky built a two-set lead and then held on to top Seneca East in five sets, 25-21, 25-20, 18-25, 20-25, 16-14, in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball match Tuesday night. Anna Johnson led the Rams (2-5, 2-2 N10) with 11 kills on 26-of-29 hitting, and Lillie Orians had nine kills on 28-of-31 hitting.
