Athletic trainer assigned to Upper Sandusky HS

Certified athletic trainer Kelsey Scheerer will provide injury care and performance improvement training techniques for Upper Sandusky High School student athletes starting with fall sports camps. Scheerer will work with coaches and athletes in all sports for on-site medical care for practices and games or matches.

Bratwurst co-ed softball tourney set for Aug. 12

BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Bratwurst Co-ed Softball Tournament is Aug. 12 at Lions Park hosted by the Bucyrus Softball Association. The entry fee is $150. The tournament is paper roster, double elimination and NSA. Teams provide their own girls 11-inch and men’s 12-inch, 52-core, 275-compression softballs. The first-place team wins a cash prize.
