Carey rolls past North Baltimore

NORTH BALTIMORE — Carey had a balanced effort in a dominant 25-6, 25-8, 25-10 victory against North Baltimore to open its volleyball season Saturday. Sydney Kin was 20-of-21 hitting with 13 kills, McKenzie Row was 18 of 21 for 11 kills, and Hannah Zimmerman went 19 of 21 hitting for seven kills.

Colonel Crawford serves too much for Riverdale

NORTH ROBINSON — An experienced Colonel Crawford team was too much for Riverdale in its first match under new coach Trey Wheeler as the Eagles flew higher than the Falcons, 25-18, 25-17, 25-16, on Saturday. Jenna Seigel paced the Eagles (1-0) on offense with nine kills, but it was the dominant serve of Kayle Zizzo that really stumped the Falcons.

Wynford drops narrow boys golf meet

SHELBY — Though Wynford was more consistent throughout its lineup, Plymouth golfers posted the top two scores and took a 190-193 victory against Wynford in a non-conference boys golf match Friday at Woody Ridge Golf Course.

Blue Devils roll past Tigers

CAREY — Trey Bame medaled and Carey easily won a non-conference boys golf match against North Baltimore, 160-207, on Wednesday at Bob’s Countryside Golf Course. Bame shot a 1-over-par 37 by finishing strong with birdies on his final two holes.

Falcons split with Pirates, Spartans

BLUFFTON — Freshman Andrew Kuenzli led the Riverdale boys golf team again with a 43, as the Falcons earned a split Wednesday at Bluffton Golf Club. Riverdale fell to Bluffton, 178-208, but defeated Lima Senior, which scored a 237.
