Bluffton blanks Riverdale

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Bluffton scored a goal early and late in the first half and took a 2-0 victory against Riverdale in a non-conference boys soccer match Thursday. Luke Young scored 1:59 into the match, and Jesse Montel scored with 2:16 left in the first half.

Special Olympics golf medalists

Wyandot County Special Olympics recently took part in the Ohio Special Olympics Unified Golf Tournament at Meadow Links Golf Course. Participants (from left) John Vogel and Clayton Miller earned a bronze with a nine-hole 53, Ben Frey and Mark Johnson earned a bronze medal with a 53, and Tyler Counts and Nancy Johnson picked up a silver medal with a 43.

Rams win 3rd straight tennis match

TIFFIN — Upper Sandusky won its third straight girls tennis match with a 3-2 victory Wednesday at Tiffin Columbian. “We played well in spots, and I feel like we won the matches we should have won,” Upper Sandusky coach Aaron Frazee said.
