Sheriff’s office responds to calls

Amber M. Hilvers, Wharton, was cited for no operator’s license after a single-car accident on TH 46 east of TH 79 the morning of June 23. Hilvers was traveling westbound when she reportedly fell asleep, drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a pile of rocks.

USPD responds to calls for service

Jesus Vargas-Manjarrez, Upper Sandusky, was cited for domestic violence after an officer responded to a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of North Warpole Street the evening of June 26. Joseph D. Sadoski, Columbus, was warned for red reflector required on U.S. 23/30 at CH 121 the night of June 26.

WCSO releases incident reports

Kathryn M. Kraninger, Kenton, was transported to Wyandot County Jail the morning of June 21 after being arrested by the Bellefontaine Police Department on a warrant out of Upper Sandusky Municipal Court for failing to comply with a court order on fines and costs from a petty theft case.

WCSO responds to calls

Kionte K. Whatley, Columbus, was transported to the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office the morning of June 17. He was arrested on a federal warrant out of the U.S. Marshall’s Office in West Virginia for allegedly stealing more than half a million dollars in property.

USPD releases reports

Bryan E. Coppler, Upper Sandusky, was cited for seat belt violation and given a warning for speed the morning of June 5 on East Wyandot Avenue near Evergreen Lane. Patricia A. Cox, Upper Sandusky, was warned for stop sign violation at East Church and North Fifth streets the morning of June 5.

Safety Blotter: June 29, 2016

Alyssa A. Gottfried, Upper Sandusky, was arrested on a warrant out of Upper Sandusky Municipal Court the evening of June 16 for license forfeiture suspension. Cameron A. Brown, Columbus, turned himself into the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office and was arrested the morning of June 17 on an indictment warrant for one count of possession of a controlled substance.

Safety Blotter: June 28, 2016

Antonio Bonilla Jr., Fremont, was cited for assured clear distance ahead following an accident at Ohio 53 South and Ohio 103 the afternoon of June 10. Bonilla rear-ended a tractor trailer driven by Daniel D. Hershberger Jr., Shreve, who was attempting to make a left turn into a private lane, causing disabling damage to his 2008 General Motors Acadia.
