It was deemed a neighbor in the duplex may have come home and opened the wrong door, as he matched the description of the man the woman saw.

An officer responded to a minor crash at Wyandot Memorial Hospital the afternoon of March 15. A woman backed her vehicle into a vehicle owned by an Upper Sandusky woman and then fled the scene. The license plate number given belonged to a Marion woman.

An officer responded to a parking lot at Wyandot Memorial Hospital on a report of a vehicle being damaged the afternoon of March 15. A piece of sheet metal blew out of a truck bed and struck another vehicle.

A caller requested a welfare check for an individual in the 15000 block of TH 97, Mifflin Township, early the morning of March 21. A business owner in the 10000 block of TH 122, Upper Sandusky, reported the morning of March 21 that an employee had stolen propane from one of the business’ tanks.

A woman in the 400 block of North Third Street reported she was being harassed by her ex-boyfriend the afternoon of March 9. She was told to contact the department if the issue continued or if he came to the residence.

The Wyandot County Humane Society reported concern for the welfare of a cat in a house in the 17000 block of CH 113 the afternoon of March 16. A deputy spoke with the landlord and tenants.

Jacob E. McDaniel, Upper Sandusky, was cited for failure to yield after a crash in Crane Township the morning of March 10. McDaniel was eastbound on CH 47 when he pulled into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by Christopher L. Payne, Marietta, on Ohio 199.
