Sheriff Michael R. Hetzel has released his activity report for the month of December:

Angel Neville, Arlington, was warned for expired registration tags following a traffic stop the morning of Dec. 10 on East Wyandot Avenue near Malabar Drive. Amanda N. Fout, Carey, was warned for no taillights following a traffic stop the morning of Dec. 10 in the 1100 block of East Wyandot Avenue.

Deloris A. Lowery, Fostoria, was traveling northbound on CH 96 south of Ohio 103 the evening of Jan. 2 when she struck a deer in the roadway. Lowery’s 2009 Hyundai Elantra sustained functional damage.

Floyd D. Combs, Harpster, was transported Jan. 6 to Correctional Reception Center, Orient, to serve a prison sentence for having a weapon under disability, a third-degree felony. A Firelands Counseling and Recovery Services counselor requested a welfare check on a man in the 200 block of West Saffel Avenue, Sycamore, who allegedly told her he was feeling suicidal the evening of Jan. 6.

A caller in the 5000 block of TH 106, Carey, reported two subjects in pickup trucks were “burning rubber” in front of his residence the evening of Jan. 1. A deputy spoke with one of the subjects and warned him about this behavior.

Two separate domestic disputes were reported in the 13000 block of TH 135, Nevada, on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

Janet M. Hill, Carey, was traveling eastbound on Ohio 103 when she attempted to turn north onto TH 105 in heavy rains and missed the roadway, sliding off the road and striking a tree the evening of Dec. 28. She was not injured in the crash.

A caller in the 400 block of South Seventh Street reported her daughter was out past curfew the evening of Dec. 2. She returned home. A car-deer accident was reported the evening of Dec. 2 in the 1200 block of east Wyandot Avenue.

A caller in the 300 block of West Center Street, Nevada, reported that an elderly woman fell and hit her head the morning of Dec. 28.

Wyandot County Sheriff Mohamet Diallo, Toledo, was cited for speed and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop the evening of Dec. 20 on U.S. 23 near CH 42.
