MHS grad to speak at 9/11 salute TIFFIN — Ret. Brig. Gen. Mark Scheid will be a featured speaker Sunday at Tiffin’s Patriot Day Salute sponsored by Tiffin University to honor first responders and military veterans. Scheid, a graduate of Mohawk High School, retired as a brigadier general and was in charge of war plans following the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Read More

Security changes made at Upper library Security changes have been made in response to an apparent theft of cash from the Upper Sandusky Community Library. During the August meeting, the board met in executive session to discuss security measures and adopted four new measures after returning to open session, according to minutes from the meeting. USCL board seeks to move forward with select projects The Upper Sandusky Community Library board will consider a handful of potential projects for the rest of this year and a list of goals for 2017 following a regular meeting Thursday afternoon.
