Mohawk principal leaves office, returns to classroom

SYCAMORE — Mohawk High School now is in need of a new sixth- through 12th-grade principal, following the reassignment of current high school principal Brett Graham at Monday evening’s board of education meeting. After five years of being at the high school helm, Graham requested the move to teach physical science, chemistry and physics.

Upper man found unresponsive in jail after overdose

Emergency medical technicians administered Narcan to revive an Upper Sandusky man who was found unresponsive after a drug overdose while he was being booked into the Wyandot County Jail Sunday night. Charges are pending against Warren J. Hall after he was released early from a one-day sentence for a traffic offense when law enforcement suspected he was reacting to a substance he used before booking.

Two injured in motorcycle crash

Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after a motorcycle crash on a highway on ramp just west of Upper Sandusky on Monday evening. Dana L. Kincade Jr., Upper Sandusky, was merging onto U.S. 23 South from CH 330 when he swerved to avoid hitting a vehicle in front of him around 7:54 p.m., according to a Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office report.

USPD: 2 Stolen SUVs connected

Upper Sandusky police believe two vehicles stolen in two days are related. A black 2004 GMC Yukon stolen from a residence in the 500 block of North Sandusky Avenue on Friday morning was recovered in the 200 block of East Columbus Street in Kenton on Saturday.
