Historic sites may receive tax credits for rehab

Area businesses in buildings more than 50 years old may have an opportunity to earn tax credits for future improvements. Representatives from Ohio History Connection and the Ohio Development Services Agency visited the Wyandot County Chamber of Commerce on Monday morning as part of a Historical Tax Credit Coffee tour through Northwest Ohio.

Ohio Ag Equipment acquires AGCO dealer Witmer’s Inc., equipment division

SALEM — Ohio Ag Equipment announces the acquisition of Columbiana County AGCO dealer Witmer’s Inc., effective June 19. The acquisition of Witmer’s Inc., Equipment Division demonstrates Ohio Ag Equipment’s serious and long-term commitment to the ag industry. The combined strengths of both organizations will provide customers in eastern Ohio with an exceptional line of equipment and product support.

“Dress down” and donate

Each year during income tax season, the Bucyrus and Upper Sandusky offices of Mizick Miller & Co. hosts Saturday “dress down” days. The cost to the staff to “dress down” is a donation to a non-profit organization in which the staff has collectively chosen.
