SYCAMORE — The village of Sycamore will ask voters in November to renew a long-running property tax to benefit Sycamore Fire and Rescue. Council members on Tuesday night took the first step toward putting a 2-mill, five-year renewal tax on the Nov. 7 ballot.

The newest member of the Upper Sandusky Police Department was put to the test on his first shift on duty early Sunday morning. K9 D’Jeke indicated that drugs were inside a 2007 Chrysler four-door vehicle on U.S. 23, which led to the arrest of a Huntington, West Virginia woman.
